“ Hole in the wall gem. Their Hu Tieu is a must have, whether dry or in soup as their soup is amazing! ”
“ Very authentic Vietnamese food. This is my second time visiting this place and the food are so delicious. I got special broken rice dish, beef offal stew with stir-fried ramen noodle, and roasted sweet snail with tamarind. Broken rice dish included pork chop, shredded pork skin, egg meatloaf, pickled daikon and carrot, slices of tomato and cucumber and only costed $15. The beef offal stew was good but somehow it little lacked flavors of five spices. The curry taste was little stronger than I expected. Roasted sweet snail with tamarind was my favorite. It had been a long time since I had snails. The snails were huge and tamarind sauce complemented the dish a lot. Every dish came with their own sauce and the packing was very careful. I also love their desserts. The restaurant is mostly togo and the parking is little tricky. The owner is very friendly and the food usually come out fast. Definitely recommend!! ”
“ Updated: they recently added Cá nướng/ Grilled Fish (party tray only I believe). I ordered it for Mother’s Day and omg it’s so guudddd! Highly recommend this place! Authentic Vietnamese food that offer some dishes that’s unique and you can’t typically find in other places (cá chiêm kho xả nghệ, gà kho gừng, canh chua cá, phá lấu,…) The special broken rice dish is great (cơm đặt biệt) and my friend loves their xôi mặn (sticky rice with pate, viet sausage and ham). We also have ordered party trays from this place multiple times and always get compliments about the food! (There was never left over ). ”
“ Solid place for authentic Vietnamese food in Portland!!!! I’ve tried many other places, however, this place totally brings me back to Vietnam with all the noodles and rice dishes! Especially their “ăn chơi” menu! Solid drinks kind of food and super duper delicious! ”
